I have been intimately involved in the growing trend of "Resident Owned" mobile/manufactured home communities for a number of years. These communities can take the form of a subdivision, condominium or cooperative but in every case the homeowner has secured some type of ownership of their site or lot. There are a number of reasons for the ever increasing desirability of owning rather than renting your site or lot. Factors such as ending escalating rental rates, investing in real estate with anticipated appreciation and having a voice in management and operation matters all contribute to homeowners seeking this type of community. I have heard that site ownership is also becoming very popular with RV owners, and I've visited some RV communities in Florida where the Rvers own their lots. This is another ownership trend that is here to stay!
Hi where do I find a site that lists CoOp parks in Central Florida. I thought it was here thank you Kathy Finn
